Forests are vital to life on Earth, supporting all living beings. While we deeply value them, global warming has turned forests into a double-edged sword, with increasing wildfires and environmental threats. Yet, despite these challenges, more people are drawn to California's iconic, heritage forests.

Every forest is remarkable-even the seemingly ordinary ones. The artworks in this exhibition emerge from a cycle of long visits to the forest, followed by studio time that sparks new insights and deepens the

evolving creative process.
