Land to Sea — Between Canopy and Current
Solo Exhibition by Jennifer Mygatt Tatum
The landscape does not exist in fragments. From mountain forests to the sea, movement is continuous—water, wind, and root systems tracing connections that resist fixed boundaries. What appears separate is, in practice, deeply entangled. Each element carries the imprint of another, forming a field of relationships that is constantly in flux.
This work emerges from that understanding. Rather than depicting a fixed or static world, it engages with processes of flow, exchange, and transformation. Materials, marks, and gestures are not treated as isolated decisions, but as participants in a larger unfolding—shaped by both intention and chance.
